Lest We Forget
An acronym for Australian
and New Zealand Army Corps, Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance marking the first landing of Australian and New Zealand soldiers
- the Anzacs - on the Gallipoli Peninsula in 1915. It broadly commemorates the service of men and women from both countries who have
fought and/or died in all wars and peacekeeping operations.
