Arhopalus Ferus Flight Season Closes

The Ministry of Primary Industries has updated the Australian forestry ICPR.From midnight (24:00 hrs, 1 May 2014) the Arhopalus ferus flight season closes for all New Zealand ports.
Containerised shipments packed
before midnight tonight are still subject to the Arhopalus ferus flight season requirements and will therefore require fumigation.
Exports loaded for shipment to Australia after this time are excluded from the Arhopalus ferus flight season requirements. Note: Documentation
must show relevant date and time each container was sealed to qualify for fumigation exemption.
Arhopalus ferus monitoring will continue
until 20 May 2014.
